This Explains a Lot

So, this guy (or group of people with one dude who has a Vimeo account) creates a program that allows people to trace a line, but each consecutive person only sees the line traced by the previous person, not the original line.

Then he makes a video showing the lines the people traced.

A Sequence of Lines Traced by Five Hundred Individuals from clement valla on Vimeo.

By the time it gets to about 46 seconds, I'm thinking people can screw up anything.

At 1 minute 16 seconds, I realize there is no hope for the human race. It's time we just leave quietly and let the cephalopods take a turn.
