Nightmare Magazine

I realize that maybe only one of you dear readers would be interested in a horror magazine, so if you would rather clean a public toilet than read horror fiction, ignore this post.

I've been reading Nightmare Magazine since it came out in October last year and I'm impressed with not only the quality of stories (we're talking haunted houses, dark mythology and eerie dreamscapes, not teens-go-to-camp-and-get-slashed) but also the topics in their non-fiction articles and the caliber of guest authors (Neil Gaiman is slated for the next issue). A lot of the online horror resources are hit-and-miss (often just miss), but Nightmare has been consistently entertaining. You can read a substantial amount of seriously good material serialized (pieces show up throughout the month) for free on their website or you can subscribe and get each issue in one shot so you don't have to wait for it.
